Inclusivity. Community. Authenticity. If you were to deduce ALTA’s ethos down to a three-word mission statement this would be it.
The Melbourne duo of Hannah Lesser and Julius Dowson work tirelessly on making intricate dance music with a simple goal: to move you. And not just in a physical sense. While they’re more than capable of filling dance floors across the country, the pair are looking for a more visceral response to their music.

It’s no cliche to say CC:DISCO! is one of the country’s most beloved party starters. Real name Courtney Clarke has become one of our most prominent selectors, and has gone from strength to strength over her incredible career which saw her start off at her local radio station in regional Victoria.
She’s since played some of the world’s biggest stages, festivals all over the globe, sold out shows, a renowned residency at PBS radio and now a much-loved RINSE FM show. She remains one of the best to do it both on the decks and behind the scenes, with her finger on the pulse not only to unearth some of the best gems to whip dancefloors and streams into frenzies, but also to showcase the next crop of artists she reckons we need to hear, via her highly sought and eclectic First Light compilations.

Space as inspiration. Considerations and exploration. Foundations and obliteration. It’s all relative. Life, death, decay and beauty. It’s all consciousness. This is the foundation Vinci Andanar’s project, Juno Mamba, has been led by and built upon.
Conceived from uncertainty and wanting to be embraced, Juno Mamba is as much about experimenting with the unknown as it is about finding purpose with the familiar. It’s not from a controlled setting, it has no limitations, it’s unrestricted, there is no predisposition and it’s ready to be consumed.

Over the last few years, Willaris. K has steadily emerged as a creative force, playing sold-out shows across the globe, supporting the likes of fellow-Aussies RÜFÜS DU SOL and recording in iconic studios such as Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La. Whilst the current global crisis has halted touring, Willaris. K shows no signs of slowing down creatively.
As he continues to turn up the tempo, dawning a new era of mind-melting releases, tailored for the dancefloor. For McAllister, his music is equal and opposite to silence, its primal rhythms enforce a uniform distraction, and creates a tunnel vision ecosystem of its own. Focus is only lost in between. Comfort in Full Noise is raw liberation, a hard and fast rulebook commanding heightened awareness. A sign of things to come...
